Job Description
The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is hiring a Compliance Dairy Process Improvement Coordinator within the Food Safety & Consumer Services (FSCS) Division.
This role focuses on improving compliance processes related to dairy production, ensuring that Washington's dairy industry meets state and federal safety and quality standards.
You will work with dairy processors, inspectors, and other stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, develop simplify procedures, and implement proven methods.
Qualification
Candidates must have experience in dairy processing, food safety compliance, or process improvement. A degree in dairy science, food science, or a related field is preferred. The role requires knowledge of state and federal dairy regulations and the ability to analyze and improve operational workflows.
