Qualification
You must have a combination of education and background equivalent to a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, plus at least two years of construction task management know-how. Relevant certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a carefully related field.
- Minimum two years of experience managing construction projects, such as budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Insight of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in venture management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal competencies to organize with contractors, engineers, and county staff.
- Legitimate Florida driver's license and capacity to travel to project sites.
- Preferred: Project Management Expert (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential.
- Preferred: Expertise with public-sector or public sector construction projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee capital construction projects from design through construction and closeout.
