Job Description

Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography is listed by Veterans Health Administration. The Veterans Health Administration is hiring a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for Computed Tomography at the Iowa City VA Health Care System.

This full-time position performs CT scans of the head, neck, spine, chest, and body, with and without contrast, to aid diagnosis and treatment. You will schedule exams, prioritize emergency cases, and confer with radiologists on non-standard protocols.

Duties include complex procedures like CT angiograms (coronary, abdominal, neuro) and exams requiring sterile technique—preparing surgical trays, catheters, and guide wires while maintaining infection control.
