Central Arizona Project (CAP) is hiring a Director, Field Maintenance to lead and coordinate field maintenance operations across its 336-mile water delivery system.
Based at CAP headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, this role oversees teams responsible for maintaining canals, pumping plants, and related infrastructure that supplies Colorado River water to over 6 million people.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $194,272 - $222,338 per year.
Qualification
This role requires proven leadership experience in field maintenance operations, preferably in a large-scale water or utility environment. Candidates should have a strong background in managing teams, budgets, and maintenance programs.
- Experience directing field maintenance operations for a large infrastructure system.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of water conveyance systems, canals, and pumping plants preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies and budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and coordination across field maintenance departments.
- Oversee maintenance of canals, pumping plants, and related infrastructure.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules.
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel for field operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support CAP's water delivery mission.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and efficiency.
- Report to senior leadership on maintenance performance and issues.

- Full-time position based at CAP headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.
- Must be able to work a 4-10 schedule (Monday through Thursday).
