Job Description

Central Arizona Project (CAP) is hiring a Director, Field Maintenance to lead and coordinate field maintenance operations across its 336-mile water delivery system.

Based at CAP headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, this role oversees teams responsible for maintaining canals, pumping plants, and related infrastructure that supplies Colorado River water to over 6 million people.

The position is ideal for an experienced maintenance leader who thrives in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment and wants to contribute to a critical water resource mission.

Salary & Compensation

Salary: $194,272 - $222,338 per year.

Qualification

This role requires proven leadership experience in field maintenance operations, preferably in a large-scale water or utility environment. Candidates should have a strong background in managing teams, budgets, and maintenance programs.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support CAP's water delivery mission.
  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and efficiency.
  • Report to senior leadership on maintenance performance and issues.
