Job Description
DeKalb County is hiring an Electrical / Instrumentation Technician I to join its team in Decatur, Georgia. This full-time role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment across county facilities.

Salary & Compensation
Salary / Pay Package: $41,286 - $63,993 per year.
Qualification
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in electrical or instrumentation work. A valid Georgia driver's license is required. Technical certification or vocational training in electrical technology is preferred.

Role Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in control systems, motors, and pumps.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
