Job Description

The Chillicothe, OH VA Medical Center is seeking a Food Service Worker Supervisor to assist as the primary shift supervisor for food solution activities.

In this role, you’ll directly oversee all food offering workers and organize operations across the Food Solution Section, such as food preparation, nourishment, tray delivery and retrieval.

You’ll obtain corrective action on any issues that arise on the floors, receive and inspect deliveries, requisition supplies, and arrange performance ratings for your team. This role is best-suited for experienced food offering leaders who desire to serve Veterans in a federal healthcare setting.

This role is onsite at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center, situated at 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601. This is a permanent, 3 role with a finish federal upsides package.

Salary & Compensation

Salary: $28.58 - $33.36 per hour.

Qualification

To qualify for this Food Service Worker Supervisor position, you must demonstrate sufficient training or experience to perform the tasks. There’s no precise length of training called for, but your resume must evidently show your ability to lead and manage food solution operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all fields of food production and service such as food preparation, nourishment, tray delivery and retrieval.
• Grab corrective action for any problems that arise on the floors about food solution.
• Obtain and inspect deliveries and requisition all supplies needed in food offering domains.
• Get ready performance ratings and competencies for all employees under frank supervision.
• Go over function performance and obstacles with employees, monitor tardiness and attendance, supply guidance, and create needed adjustments in assignments.
• Bear out responsibilities within general instructions, usual procedures, and established policies.

• Set up priorities for everyday operations in emergency situations and define standards of standard and quantity.
