DeKalb County is hiring a GIS Specialist to join its team in Decatur, Georgia. This full-time role focuses on geographic information systems, including data management, spatial analysis, and map production.

Salary & Compensation
Salary / Pay Package: $37,830 - $58,638 per year.
Qualification
Candidates for the GIS Specialist position should have relevant education or experience in geographic information systems, cartography, or a related field. Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS is typically required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with ArcGIS or similar GIS software.
- Knowledge of spatial data analysis and map production.
- Ability to manage and maintain GIS databases.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
Role Responsibilities
