Qualification

Applicants must have experience in heavy equipment repair, including diagnostics and overhaul of engines, drive trains, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Role Responsibilities

Service, diagnose, and repair light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment.

  • Perform minor and major repairs, including overhauling engines, drive trains, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct daily inspections, fueling, check fluid levels, lighting, tires, and startup and safety inspections.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance.
  • Supervise apprentice workers engaged in vehicle and equipment repair work.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and federal testing requirements.
  • Operate equipment as needed for diagnostic or repair purposes.
Conditions & Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if not already held.

  • Subject to federally mandated testing upon obtaining a CDL, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, and follow-up testing.
  • Ability to work in a rotational schedule, including travel to various work sites.
