Hybrid-Cloud Systems Engineer III

This role requires a senior-level engineer with deep expertise in hybrid cloud security and infrastructure. Candidates should have proven experience designing secure solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments, and a track record of partnering with information security teams.

• Experience leading the design, integration, and deployment of hybrid cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including security architecture.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and threat mitigation.
• Ability to translate emerging threats and standards into operational controls.
• Experience in a mission-critical or airport/transportation environment preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a tight-knit, learning-oriented team.

Design and architect secure hybrid cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premises.

• Lead integration and deployment of modern cloud and on-premises technologies.
• Partner with Information Security to implement security controls based on emerging threats.
• Enhance the Port's security posture and ensure infrastructure resilience and scalability.
• Support critical business objectives, including systems at an international airport.
• Drive emerging IT initiatives and explore new technologies.
• Maintain and improve the technology backbone that keeps operations running flawlessly.

• Must be able to work onsite as needed (hybrid work environment).
• May require occasional after-hours or weekend work for critical system changes.
• Must pass a background check and security clearance as required for airport access.

Competitive salary range of $107,000

• $149,500 per year.
