Job Description
The State of Hawai'i Department of Health is hiring an Information Technology Support Technician for the island of Oahu. This role is based in Kaneohe to Kualoa and involves independently providing technical support and assistance to departmental computer users.

Qualification

Role Responsibilities
Independently provide technical support and assistance to departmental computer users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist users with the use of various software applications.
- Document support requests and resolutions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff as needed.
- Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
Conditions & Requirements
Must be able to work full-time on the island of Oahu.
- Temporary positions may require satisfactory completion of a six-month probation period for civil service membership.
- May be required to pass a background check.
- Must comply with State of Hawai'i employment policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel within the Kaneohe to Kualoa area as needed.
