Job Description
The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville is hiring an Information Technology Specialist (Systems Administration) to join its Command Operations Department, Information Systems Division.
In this role, you will install, configure, and manage servers, computers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components within the FRCSE environment.
You will ensure system security and compliance with organizational policies and industry proven methods, proactively monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
Qualification
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This experience must include implementing security measures, installing and managing systems, and providing technical support.

Role Responsibilities

Conditions & Requirements
New employees to the Department of the Navy must pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS, including remote or isolated sites, and travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods.
