Qualification
You must encounter the minimum expertise and training needs for the Invoice Processor 1 classification. This is an entry-level role; no prior state service is needed, but related education or background in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of know-how in accounts payable, invoice processing, or a related clerical accounting function.
- OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Aptitude to function with financial data and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SAP or alike enterprise tool planning systems is supportive but not required.
- Must pass a background check.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess vendor and grantee invoices to verify they gather lawful and administrative requirements.
- Examine scanned invoice figures in SAP and contrast it with purchase orders or funding documents.
- Spot and resolve discrepancies or concerns spotted during audits.
- Guarantee payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain records and documentation related to invoice processing.
- Communicate with vendors, grantees, and internal team to resolve invoice problems.
- Support with other accounting tasks as needed.
