Duties & Responsibilities

• Supply Tier II technical assist at the Solution Desk, focusing on user relationship building and issue resolution management.
• Back and handbook customers on installing and running personal computers, peripheral equipment, and associated software.
• Custom install and keep up hardware and software; investigate and resolve visitor equipment/system issues before referring more challenging concerns to appropriate levels.
• Document actions taken in Remedy ITSM or the current operate ticket tracking system.
• Serve as a point of details for workstation operations.
• Get, respond to, and ensure resolution of all kinds of assist center calls.
• Create and apply programs and techniques to isolate causes of challenges and customer errors.
• Put in proper security measures consistent with approved security standards.
• Detect damaged or lost files, optimize disk management, measure system performance, control system security, and extend system capabilities.
