Qualification

Role Responsibilities
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate kindergarten instruction aligned with Hawaii Content and Performance Standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports social-emotional learning.
- Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments to guide instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and school administration to support student success.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and meet licensing requirements.
- Implement positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) as part of the school-wide framework.
