You’ll assist as a Lead Supply Management Specialist (Inventory Auditor) in the Industrial Supply Division, MRO Logistics Department at FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST, based at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. This role leads the physical inventory accuracy plan, creates audit schemes, and arranges with internal departments.
You’ll analyze systemic concerns affecting inventory accuracy, evaluate internal controls, and create corrective action blueprints. You’ll also arrange formal audit reports, brief leadership, and cater to as a subject matter expert on inventory accuracy and internal controls.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $89,508 - $116,362 per year.
Qualification
To qualify, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized know-how at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal offering or equivalent experience in the personal or public sector.
Specialized background must cover inventory audits, physical inventories, information analysis, and understanding of FIAR standards.
- Performing inventory audits, reviewing internal controls, and supporting audit readiness.
- Carrying out physical inventories, location validations, and condition assessments.
- Reviewing supply and production records to spot discrepancies and decide expected causes.
- Demonstrating knowledge of FIAR standards, DoD auditability needs, and NAVSUP/NAVAIR audit policies.
- Getting ready audit reports summarizing findings, contributing considerations, and recommending corrective actions.
- Expertise may be gained through paid or unpaid function, covering volunteer solution.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the physical inventory accuracy plan, build annual and quarterly audit schemes, and refine audit methodologies.
- Arrange audit schedules with various internal departments.
- Analyze systemic matters affecting inventory accuracy and evaluate internal controls.
- Develop corrective action blueprints to address deficiencies.
- Get ready and send in formal audit reports and brief leadership on findings.
- Assist as a subject matter expert on inventory accuracy and internal controls.
- Lead a staff to perform physical inventories, location audits, and condition assessments of materials.
- Investigate and reconcile complicated discrepancies between physical counts and Navy ERP (SAP) records.
