Leadership and Business Management (LBM) Adjunct Faculty is listed by Olympic College. Olympic College is recruiting an adjunct faculty participant to teach Leadership and Company Management (LBM) courses at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) in Washington.
This in-person post involves everyday instruction during a designated timeframe, serving students who are often working adults seeking to advance their paths. This role reports to the Dean of Enterprise & Technology and is piece of a continuous candidate pool reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Candidates remain active for 12 months and may be contacted when vacancies occur. Teaching work in this role includes getting ready and providing college-level courses, providing syllabi, keeping up accurate student records, and communicating promptly with students and workforce. Evening instruction may be needed.

Salary & Compensation
Pay / Pay Package: $1,000 per year.
Qualification
You must grip a master's degree from an accredited institution in organizational leadership and management or a related field, and have at least three years of winning leadership know-how in a medium or sizable institution.
- Master's degree in organizational leadership and management or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of thriving expertise in a leadership role within a medium or large-sized body.
- Teaching background at the college level or demonstrated know-how teaching adults in other capacities (desired).
- Aptitude to effectively instruct and inspire students with varying backgrounds.
- Commitment to using diverse instructional methods to confirm student win.
- Robust oral and written communication expertise.
- Ability to function as a staff player and contribute to the college's diversity aims.
- Proficiency in incorporating computer information technology in teaching.
- Must be cleared to operate in the United States; visa sponsorship isn’t available.
Role Responsibilities
- Train day-to-day in-person college-level courses in Leadership and Business Management at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
- Arrange and hand over course material under the college catalog, course outlines, syllabi, and departmental guidelines.
- Offer standard instruction covering related preparation and grading.
- Distribute course syllabi to students and send in copies to the division office as requested.
- Keep up correct student records and wrap up required forms.
- Communicate punctually with students, faculty, and team.
- May include evening instruction and travel to other Olympic College campuses or clinical sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Information
- This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis; placement on the pay schedule is based on educational background and experience.
- Adjuncts aren’t initially eligible for gains; eligibility begins after working 50% of a full-time load for two consecutive quarters.
