Salary & Compensation
Salary: $147,472 - $184,330 per year.
Qualification
You must have know-how in public library leadership, covering managing teams and system-wide initiatives.
- Background in public library leadership or management.
- Aptitude to manage multiple divisions (Communications, Outreach, Collections, Client Solution, Operations, Programs).
- Sturdy collaboration and staff management abilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead teams and system-wide initiatives under the Library Director or Deputy Director.
- Supervise Communications, Outreach, Collections, User Solution, and Operations (IT, HR, Facilities).
- Oversee multi-generational Programs and Solutions for youth, families, adults, and 55+.
- Grow and carry out maker space programs.
- Guarantee exceptional library offerings that gather community wants.
- Inspire and engage residents across San Mateo County.
- Collaborate with workforce to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive innovation and forward-thinking library practices.
Conditions & Requirements

- Must be eligible to function in the United States.
- May need travel to multiple library locations within San Mateo County.
