You’ll assist as a Logistics Management Specialist on the Adversary Fleet Assist Group within the Fleet Support Crew (FST) Logistics Department of FLTREADCEN EAST in Fallon, Nevada. Your leading center will be providing pro logistics support for the F-16 weapon system, covering acquisition, sustainment, and performance-based logistics.
This role is ideal for experienced logistics professionals who can independently form decisions to guarantee fleet aircraft safety and readiness objectives are met.
You’ll organize scheme aid matters between the APML, IPT Leader, and FST lead, and assess plan documentation, system designs, and aircraft/engine interfaces for logistical considerations. The role is full-time, permanent, and telework eligible as determined by agency policy.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $106,855 - $138,913 per year.
Qualification
To qualify for this GS-13 Logistics Management Specialist post.. Your resume must reveal at least one year of specialized know-how at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal offering or equivalent experience in the confidential or public sector.
This background must involve developing scheme sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics back, managing technical and professional services for weapon system sustainment, and evaluating new approaches and standards for logistical decisions.
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the Federal solution or equivalent in personal/public sector.
- Expertise developing plan sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conditions & Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or concluding security clearance.
- This role is covered under DAWIA; certification in the functional field and tier is called for within established timeframes.
- May need travel from typical duty station to CONUS and OCONUS, covering remote or isolated sites, and must be capable to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods.
