Job Description

You will serve as an Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) within the Weapons Sustainment Management Division at NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE, located at Patuxent River, Maryland.

This role supports the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile – Extended Range (AARGM-ER) program under PMA-242 Direct and Time Sensitive Strike. You will be responsible for overall planning, management, execution, and oversight of integrated product support, sustainment, maintenance, and logistics operations.

You will lead and coordinate all logistics, sustainment, readiness, and supportability activities across assigned programs, ensuring team members complete tasking and program requirements consistent with Fleet readiness priorities.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include duties related to senior leadership communication, testing criteria, rapid acquisition processes, personnel and budget management, contracts management, logistics documentation, and Engineering Change Proposals.

  • Communicating clearly with Senior Leadership, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrating experience with testing criteria, rapid acquisition processes, Personnel Management resources, Budget management and Financial controls.
  • Demonstrating familiarity with contracts management and contract performance.
  • Developing logistics documentation and initial maintenance training.
  • Demonstrating experience with the development and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives.
  • Prioritizing tasks, funding, workloads, and manpower resources.

Role Responsibilities

Plan, manage, execute, and oversee integrated product support, sustainment, maintenance, and logistics operations.

  • Ensure team members complete assigned tasking, action items, and program requirements in a timely, accurate, and professional manner consistent with program objectives and Fleet readiness priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate all logistics, sustainment, readiness, and supportability activities across assigned programs.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for logistics operations supporting Fleet and test activities, including coordination of asset movement, transportation planning, depot repair actions, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Serve as the AARGM-ER APML within PMA-242 Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program.
  • Develop and execute Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives.
  • Manage budgets, financial controls, and personnel resources.
  • Communicate with Senior Leadership on program status and issues.
Conditions & Requirements
