Qualification
To qualify for the Management Analyst 2 role, you must gather the Commonwealth's minimum expertise and training needs. This usually includes a combination of education and expert know-how in management analysis, procurement, or a related field.
- One year as a Management Analyst 1 (commonwealth title); or.
- Three years of skilled background in management analysis, scheme evaluation, or administrative analysis; and a bachelor's degree; or.
- An equivalent combination of expertise and training that contains one year of expert analytical experience.
- Know-how with procurement, purchasing, or inventory management is preferred.
- Aptitude to provide in-person and virtual training.
- Strong figures analysis and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication competencies.
- Capacity to function collaboratively with diverse teams across the state.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out caliber assurance reviews of statewide purchasing and procurement activities to guarantee compliance with policy and regulation.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training on inventory management, procurement, and purchasing programs.
- Analyze statewide procurement and inventory data to spot strengths, weaknesses, and fields for improvement.
- Respond to inquiries about procurement, purchasing, and inventory management and decide appropriate answers.
- Create and update training materials and usual running procedures.
- Collaborate with agency partners to advance proven methods and consistency.
- Aid the execution of new procurement systems or procedure modifies.
- Get ready reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
