MANAGEMENT ANALYST V - OAHU (OHHI)

To qualify for the Management Analyst V position, applicants must meet the minimum qualification requirements established by the State of Hawai'i. These typically include a combination of education and experience in management analysis, public administration, or a related field.

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
• Four years of professional experience in management analysis, program evaluation, or administrative management.
• Experience must include conducting studies, analyzing organizational structures, and recommending improvements.
• Knowledge of government budgeting, procurement, and human resources processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Conduct management and organizational studies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Analyze policies, procedures, and operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement recommendations for process improvements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other departments and agencies on cross-functional projects.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance against established goals.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
• Provide guidance and training to lower-level analysts.

• This position is located in Downtown Honolulu, Oahu.
• May be required to work occasional overtime or weekends.
• Must pass a background check and/or drug screening if required by the department.

Competitive salary range of $6,221

• $8,855 per year.
