The Marketing Assistant position is part of the Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) Marketing Division at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. The division serves over 5,000 active duty military, family members, and civilian personnel.

In this role, you will provide non-supervisory marketing and promotional assistance, helping to publicize MWR programs and facilities.

You will advise program managers on cost-effective marketing strategies, assist in planning complete campaigns, and prepare materials such as emails, websites, presentations, and printed publications.

Qualification

To qualify for this NF-2 Marketing Assistant position, you must have at least one year of general experience in the marketing field demonstrating knowledge of marketing principles, methods, practices, and techniques. Role Responsibilities

Advise program and facility managers on the most efficient and cost-effective marketing and publicity methods to meet program goals.

  • Assist in planning, initiating, and implementing complete marketing campaigns to promote MWR programs, including research, resource allocation, and communications.
  • Publicize and encourage patronage of MWR programs and facilities through strategic deployment of marketing tools such as email, websites, presentations, publications, official message traffic, and printed materials.
  • Prepare marketing materials by gathering information, planning, designing, and writing for all forms of advertising.
  • Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and within budget constraints.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of design principles and apply them to create effective marketing collateral.
Conditions & Requirements

Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successfully complete a background investigation (fingerprint identification and background inquiry forms).

This position is intermittent, with work hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week based on mission needs.
