Qualification
To qualify for this Mental Health Counselor 2 post.. You must grip a present Nevada license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.. Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor.. Or Licensed Practicing 2. This licensure must perform the complete range of tasks.
- Existing Nevada license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (LCADC), or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC).
- Know-how providing counseling, case management, and direct clinical offerings to mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or emotionally disturbed clients.
- Experience handing over in-home, family-centered intensive solutions, such as skill-building and supportive offerings.
- Capacity to carry out mental health assessments for children and parents.
- Background with crisis intervention and clinical case management for high-risk families.
- Expertise of child welfare systems and rural solution delivery.
- Sound driver's license and aptitude to travel to client homes in rural Nevada.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Give intensive family solutions (IFS) to families involved with the child welfare system in rural Nevada.
