Qualification
To qualify for the GS 14-15 Organizational Psychologist position, you need five years of post-ABD relevant work experience and demonstrated expertise in applied behavioral science research, methodology, and statistics. U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet CIA security requirements are mandatory.
- U.S. citizenship (dual-national U.S. citizens eligible) and at least 18 years old.
- Five years of post-ABD relevant work experience (e.g., Intelligence Community, federal government, private sector consulting, or academic research with applied components.
- Demonstrated expertise in Industrial-Organizational or Applied Psychology content domains (personnel selection, job performance measurement, motivation, organizational effectiveness, psychological measurement theory.
- Expertise in applied research methodology: experimental design, survey design, item development, and advanced statistics (factor analysis, item response theory, SEM, multilevel modeling.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (R Shiny, Tableau, Power BI.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
- Desired: experience consulting with non-psychology stakeholders; advanced proficiency in R, Python, STATA, SPSS, SAS; skills in machine learning, AI, or large language models; psychometric test development; personnel assessment and selection research.
