Salary / Pay Package: $179,891 - $288,000 per year.

Qualification

To qualify for the GS 14-15 Organizational Psychologist position, you need five years of post-ABD relevant work experience and demonstrated expertise in applied behavioral science research, methodology, and statistics. U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet CIA security requirements are mandatory.

  • U.S. citizenship (dual-national U.S. citizens eligible) and at least 18 years old.
  • Five years of post-ABD relevant work experience (e.g., Intelligence Community, federal government, private sector consulting, or academic research with applied components.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Industrial-Organizational or Applied Psychology content domains (personnel selection, job performance measurement, motivation, organizational effectiveness, psychological measurement theory.
  • Expertise in applied research methodology: experimental design, survey design, item development, and advanced statistics (factor analysis, item response theory, SEM, multilevel modeling.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (R Shiny, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
  • Desired: experience consulting with non-psychology stakeholders; advanced proficiency in R, Python, STATA, SPSS, SAS; skills in machine learning, AI, or large language models; psychometric test development; personnel assessment and selection research.
Role Responsibilities

Elicit client needs and design, conduct, and report applied research to meet operational requirements.

  • Provide direct support to Agency operations as needed.
