Job Description

As an Orientation and Mobility Specialist with the Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services, you will teach life-changing skills that help individuals who are blind or visually impaired manage the world with greater independence.

Qualification

Candidates must meet specific education and experience requirements. A bachelor's degree in orientation and mobility, rehabilitation teaching, or a related field is typically required. Certification by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) is preferred.

Role Responsibilities
