Salary & Compensation
Salary: $60,538 - $92,010 per year.
Qualification
You must meet precise education and background conditions. A bachelor's degree in orientation and mobility, rehabilitation teaching, or a related field is generally needed.
Certification by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess client abilities and needs to create individualized instructional blueprints.
- Provide one-on-one or set lessons using experience-based learning and guided practice.
- Choose suitable canes, travel aids, and technology to assist secure independent travel.
- Monitor buyer development to guarantee constant improvement and winning outcomes.
- Give guidance and counseling to users and families to reinforce abilities and encourage independence.
- Document user progress and uphold accurate records.
- Collaborate with other rehabilitation professionals and community references.
- Participate in crew meetings and training sessions.
