- At least two years of experience in parts and supply management, inventory control, or automotive parts procurement.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and procurement procedures.

- Ability to lift and move parts and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with fleet or heavy equipment parts preferred.

Role Responsibilities
Order, receive, and stock parts and supplies for city fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical counts.
- Research and source parts from approved vendors to ensure best pricing and availability.
- Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices with deliveries.
- Issue parts to mechanics and technicians, tracking usage and returns.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, backorders, or defective parts.
- Assist in developing and updating inventory policies and procedures.
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack to move heavy items as needed.
