Qualification

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in pieces and supply management, inventory control, or automotive portions procurement.
• Expertise of inventory management software and procurement procedures.
• Sound Arizona driver's license or capacity to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift and relocate sections and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Know-how with fleet or weighty equipment pieces preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Order, get, and stock portions and supplies for metro fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Keep up accurate inventory records and carry out periodic physical counts.
• Research and source sections from approved vendors to confirm best pricing and availability.
• Procedure purchase orders and reconcile invoices with deliveries.
• Issue pieces to mechanics and technicians, tracking usage and returns.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, backorders, or defective portions.
• Aid with developing and updating inventory policies and procedures.
• Work a forklift or pallet jack to shift heavy items as needed.

• May require to operate occasional overtime or weekends during emergencies.
