Salary & Compensation
Pay / Cover Package: $5,000 - $6,000 per year.
Qualification
A Master's degree in Physics is called for. A related Master's degree with substantial graduate-level Physics coursework may be considered. You must also possess computer abilities including Microsoft submissions.

Role Responsibilities
- Arrange and instruct developmental and/or college-level Physics courses.
- Supply high-quality, enthusiastic instruction including related preparation and grading.
- Give class syllabi to students and to the division office as requested.
- Hold exact records of students and finalize forms and records as called for.
- Keep up a versatile schedule to accommodate evening instruction.
- May cover teaching at Bremerton, Poulsbo, and Shelton campuses.
- Uphold obvious and punctual communication with students, faculty, and workforce.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Information
- This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule is commensurate with educational background and expertise.
- Adjuncts aren’t eligible for advantages upon initial take on; eligibility begins after functioning 50% of a full-time load for two consecutive quarters.
- A collective bargaining agreement exists; this role is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE).
- Before recruit, a background check covering criminal record history will be conducted.
- You must complete the Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Form as needed by Washington State law.
- The employee must reside in Washington State within a reasonable distance of the campus.
- Evening and weekend classes, instruction at satellite campuses, and travel to clinical sites may be called for.
