Qualification

Role Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities for assigned state agencies.

  • Prepare and issue solicitations such as invitations for bids (IFBs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Evaluate vendor responses, conduct negotiations, and award contracts in compliance with state regulations.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure vendor compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to agency staff on procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and updating procurement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development of procurement plans and strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Resolve procurement-related issues and disputes in a timely manner.
