Qualification

You must have experience in public functions inspection and strategy assess, with the ability to independently administer inspections and make sure compliance with construction standards. The Experienced Public Works Inspector role demands a higher level of expertise than the normal Inspector role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Arrange construction activities with city departments, other agencies, personal utilities, and the general public.
  • Carry out scheme evaluate of commercial and residential development projects and franchise utility projects.
  • Run Public Performs related construction inspections for commercial and residential development projects.
  • Supply guidance and training as needed to team in the Public Works Inspector role.
  • Investigate and resolve involved complaints.
  • Recognize and alleviate threats to the City’s infrastructure or to public safety.

Conditions & Requirements

  • Must be capable to perform full-time (40 hours per week).
  • Must have a sound Washington State driver's license.
  • Must pass a background review.
  • Must be fit to function in various weather conditions and on construction sites.
  • May demand to operate occasional overtime or weekends for project deadlines.
