Qualification

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and correctional staff.
  • Respond to medical emergencies within the facility.
  • Administer medications according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Educate patients on health conditions and self-care.
  • Maintain infection control standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
