The County of Tulare Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is recruiting a Registered Nurse – Lead to join the Public Health Branch.
This position provides lead supervision for professional nursing staff in a health care clinic, assists the Supervising Nurse, Physician, Clinic Manager, and other higher-level staff in clinic operations, and delivers primary care nursing services.
The Public Health Branch protects and promotes the health of Tulare County residents through best-practice public health and primary care programs.
Qualification
Candidates must possess a valid California Registered Nurse license and meet the experience requirements outlined by the County. Lead experience in a clinical setting is highly valued.
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Two years of professional nursing experience, including one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of public health nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate nursing staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement quality assurance and improvement activities.
- Current CPR certification (may be required).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not required.
