This role offers lead supervision for expert nursing workforce in a health care clinic, assists the Supervising Nurse, Physician, Clinic Manager, and other higher-level staff in clinic operations, and provides principal care nursing services.
The Public Health Branch protects and advances the health of Tulare County residents through best-practice public health and main care programs. As a Lead Nurse, you’ll confirm compliance with regulatory conditions, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
You’ll also assist with rolling out policies and procedures for grade assurance and improvement. This role is best-suited for an experienced RN set to grab on supervisory responsibilities though keeping up frank patient care duties.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $92,761 - $113,051 per year.
Qualification
You must have a sound California Registered Nurse license and encounter the experience requirements outlined by the County. Lead know-how in a clinical setting is highly valued.
- Legitimate California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Two years of skilled nursing expertise, including one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Understanding of public health nursing principles and practices.
- Capacity to supervise and evaluate nursing team.
- Powerful communication and interpersonal expertise.
- Aptitude to implement caliber assurance and improvement activities.
- Existing CPR certification (may be required).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supply lead supervision and direction to expert nursing workforce in a clinic setting.
- Assist Supervising Nurse, Physician, and Clinic Manager in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and standards of practice.
- Implement policies and procedures for quality assurance and improvement.
- Oversee fluid progression of day-to-day patient flow.
- Give leading care nursing solutions to patients.
- Participate in staff training and development.
- Organize care with other healthcare professionals.
- Uphold accurate patient records and documentation.
- Aid with developing and updating clinical protocols.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must have a sound California Registered Nurse license.
- Must be fit to pass a background review.
- May require tuberculosis screening and immunizations.
- Must be capable to operate in a clinical environment with potential exposure to infectious diseases.
- May call for occasional travel to distinct clinic sites within Tulare County.
- Must be on offer to work full-time schedule.
