Job Description

The Central Intelligence Agency is hiring a Registered Nurse to join its occupational health group in Washington, DC. This role goes beyond ordinary clinic nursing—you'll back CIA officers with travel medicine, emergency preparedness, case management, and OSHA-mandated programs.

You'll assess both occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries, administer immunizations, and provide medical clearances for overseas travel. You'll also respond to medical emergencies independently, maintain emergency supplies, and carry out health education.

Qualification

Role Responsibilities

  • Inspect and keep up emergency medical supplies and equipment.
  • Run OSHA-mandated programs covering spirometry, hearing exams, and ergonomic evaluations.
  • Build and carry out health education programs on disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Give person counseling on occupational health and wellness.
  • Uphold required certifications and participate in professional development activities.
