To qualify for this GS-9/11 Social Worker post, you must be a U.S. Citizen with a master's degree in social perform from a CSWE-accredited school and hold a state license or certification to independently practice social function at the master's degree level. • Participate in face-to-face or virtual contact with caregivers and Veterans to assess function and need for personal care solutions.
• Apply and keep up a figures monitoring system to measure plan efficacy and aid with collecting and analyzing nearby information reports.
• Advise and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams throughout the medical center on caregiver matters.
• Produce educational utilities, create programs, and put in place training focused on particular caregiver needs and concerns.
• Carry out clinical interventions with Veterans, caregivers, and families to identify caregiver strain, psychiatric illness, emotional distress, and social needs.
• Provide referrals to VA medical and mental health treatment, VA upsides, community-based social services, and other non-VA entitlements.
• Cater to as a consultant for managing involved procedures caregivers, Veterans, and families encounter when interacting with government and community systems.
• Uphold exact documentation and case records under VA policies and standards.
• Participate in scheme development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance caregiver assist services.
