The Recreation and Parks Department is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Special Districts Planning Technician. In this role, you’ll assist the planning, permitting, and coordination of the Metro's Landscape Maintenance Districts. You’ll work collaboratively with Town staff, developers, contractors, and the public.

Salary & Compensation
Salary: $58,868 - $71,555 per year.
Qualification
You should be detail-oriented professionals with experience in planning, permitting, or coordination of landscape maintenance districts. This role needs robust problem-solving expertise, technical data management, and excellent client service.
- Background in planning, permitting, or coordination of landscape maintenance districts or alike distinct districts.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with Town team, developers, contractors, and the public.
- Sturdy problem-solving abilities and attention to element.
- Proficiency in managing technical details and documentation.
- Excellent customer solution and communication competencies.
- Understanding of municipal or public works procedures is preferred.
- Aptitude to run multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid California driver's license may be called for.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid the planning, permitting, and coordination of the Metro's Landscape Maintenance Districts.
- Collaborate with Town staff, developers, contractors, and the public on district-related projects.
- Procedure permits and make sure compliance with district regulations.
- Uphold correct records and technical documentation.
- Offer exceptional customer offering to residents and stakeholders.
- Help with project management and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
- Participate in public meetings and community outreach.
Conditions & Requirements
