The United States Space Force (USSF) at 2 Air Force Base is hiring a Workforce Financial Specialist to join the Financial Management Directorate (SSC/FM). This role aids financial oversight, price analysis, and budget execution for space acquisition programs that aid warfighting capabilities.
This is a developmental post under the Acquisition Demonstration (AcqDemo) task.
You’ll enter at the NH-02 settle band (broadly equivalent to GS-09 through GS-11) and obtain progressive training and assignments designed to get ready you for the target NH-03 cover band (GS-12/13 equivalent).

Role Responsibilities
Perform progressively more tricky perform in budgeting, accounting, financial administration, and charge analysis.
- Assist financial oversight and budget execution for space acquisition programs.
- Help with price analysis and financial reporting for SSC/FM.
- Participate in developmental training and assignments to arrange for target NH-03 level.
- Manage and safeguard sensitive and classified information under regulations.
- May demand to travel away from the typical duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- May need to function overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Subject to Temporary Task (TDY) travel up to 15 days per year.
