The United States Space Force (USSF) at 2 Air Force Base is hiring a Workforce Financial Specialist to join the Financial Management Directorate (SSC/FM).
In this developmental NH-0501-02 position (broadly equivalent to GS-09/11), you’ll perform progressively complicated perform in budgeting, accounting, financial administration, and cost analysis.
This role is section of the Acquisition Demonstration (AcqDemo) venture, designed to arrange you for the target NH-03 settle band (GS-12/13 equivalent).
Qualification
The 0501 series doesn’t have an individual occupational requirement. Experience conditions are set on OPM's General Schedule Qualifications Standards for Administrative and Management Positions. U.S. Citizenship is needed.

Role Responsibilities
Perform progressively tricky function in budgeting, accounting, financial administration, and charge analysis.
- Back financial oversight and budget execution of space acquisition programs.
- Participate in developmental training and assignments to get ready for target NH-03 cover band.
- Manage and safeguard sensitive and classified information per regulations.
- May travel away from standard responsibility station on military or commercial aircraft.
- May operate overtime on unscheduled or emergency basis.
Conditions & Requirements
