Job Description
The County of Los Angeles is hiring a Supervising Mammography Technologist to supervise mammography operations within LA Health Solutions, the second-largest public health system in the nation. Perform in this role includes supervising technologists, securing grade imaging, and keeping up compliance with standards.
You’ll work across a network that covers four public hospitals, over 20 community health centers, and specialized programs serving more than 10 million residents. This role is best-suited for experienced mammography technologists set to grab on leadership responsibilities in a large, public solution public health system.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $94,008 - $126,684 per year.
Qualification

- Completion of a radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Examine Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Mammography.
- A legitimate California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license with Mammography certification.
- At least two years of full-time background as a mammography technologist within the last five years.
- Know-how supervising or leading a group of mammography technologists is very desirable.
- All required expertise and education must be fully met at the time of filing.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and arrange the everyday operations of mammography offerings.
- Make sure compliance with state and federal regulations, such as MQSA standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate mammography technologists and back staff.
- Perform caliber control verifies on mammography equipment and imaging procedures.
- Oversee patient scheduling, workflow, and reference allocation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Maintain correct records and documentation for accreditation and audits.
- Participate in continuous standard improvement initiatives.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must be a current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with Mammography certification.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography called for.
- Capacity to pass a background verify and health screening.
- Willingness to function at various Los Angeles County facilities as needed.
- Must comply with LA County's COVID-19 vaccination policy or obtain an exemption.
