El Paso County's Department of Public Functions Fleet Division is hiring a Technician II/III - Automotive to uphold and repair light-duty vehicles, landscape equipment, and auxiliary attachments. Qualification

Duties & Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns on vehicles and equipment.
- Use diagnostic software and resources to pinpoint issues accurately.
- Assist experienced technicians with major repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls.
- Hold accurate records of repairs, sections used, and labor time.
- Respond to emergency call-outs to maintain fleet operational.
- Inspect and test vehicles to make sure safety and performance standards.
- Keep work domain wipe down, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Colorado driver's license or capacity to obtain one within 30 days.
- Ability to pass a criminal background inspect.

- Must be available for after-hours on-call duty as needed.
