The Nevada Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is hiring a Training Officer 1 for Summit View Youth Center (SVYC).. A 48-bed protected facility for male youth ages 14 to 18 situated in Las Vegas.. 1.
In this role, you’ll oversee and arrange the delivery of training for SVYC workforce, including supervising and carrying out 1 sessions, getting ready course descriptions, developing curriculum, and providing trainings.
You’ll assist as the liaison to the Division of Human References on training wants and requirements, run 1 needs assessments, analyze effects, and make recommendations.
Also, you’ll design and carry out employee development programs, participate in and carry out safety and other investigations as needed, and make sure facility training compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and DCFS and SVYC 1 policies.
This full-time role follows an anticipated function schedule of 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with a variable operate agreement and overtime after 40 hours per week.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $61,721 - $91,496 per year.
Qualification

Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle and coordinate delivery of trainings for SVYC team.
- Supervise and run training sessions.
- Arrange course descriptions and create curriculum.
- Hand over trainings to workforce.
- Cater to as liaison to the Division of Human Assets on training demands and conditions.
- Carry out training wants assessments, analyze results, and make recommendations.
- Design and put in place employee development programs.
- Participate in and run safety and other investigations as needed.
- Ensure facility training compliance with related federal and state regulations and DCFS and SVYC 1 policies.
Conditions & Requirements
