The 118th Wing / 118th Force Back Squadron in Nashville, Tennessee, is hiring a Training Technician (Title 32) to serve as the Set Unit Training Manager (UTM). In this role.. Salary: $61,722 - $80,243 per year.

Qualification

To qualify for the GS-1702-09 Training Technician post, you must gather military grade conditions (E-4 through E-7) and possess specialized know-how equivalent to the GS-07 level or 24 months of background demonstrating the called for competencies.

Knowledge of Army or Air Force vision, values, body, policy, and mission is mandatory.

• Military Grades: E-4 through E-7.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage Set Training Programs and Subordinate Unit Compliance.
• Assist as the Cluster Unit Training Manager (UTM) under the direction of the Force Assist Squadron (FSS) - Force Development Office (FDO).
• Carry out Workforce Assistance Visits (SAVs) and evaluate Unit Training Programs.
• Handle official schools and distance learning integration.
• Support Commander-Level Board Procedures and Force Development initiatives.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Conditions & Requirements

• NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS Needed. If not currently a participant, must be eligible for prompt membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed.
• This is an excepted solution role requiring membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard before the productive date of placement.
