Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out normal sampling and field-testing of construction materials.
- Perform density tests on Portland Cement Concrete, bituminous mixtures, aggregates, quarries, and pits.
- Run usual construction surveying, covering instrument operation and staking.
- Spot and stake right-of-way boundaries.
- Reduce and inspect field book notes of standard surveys.
- Decide, plot, and check normal cross sections.
- Enforce traffic controls established during construction.
- Participate in a training plan requiring 180 Technician Development Hours.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
