The West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) is hiring a Transportation Worker 3 Equipment Operator to perform skilled work in highway construction and maintenance.

- Ability to perform related tasks such as flagging, erecting traffic control signs and barricades, shoveling materials, cleaning culverts, mowing, and brush cutting.
- Valid driver's license may be required.

- Perform major repairs to highways, culverts, and bridge structures.
- Make minor mechanical repairs in the field, including changing tires, blades, or filters.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and checking fluid levels.
- Perform flagging duties and erect traffic control signs and barricades on construction and maintenance projects.
- Shovel materials, clean culverts, mow, and cut brush as needed.
- Perform other related work as required.
