Salary & Compensation

Qualification
You must can work heavy highway maintenance equipment and perform trained construction and maintenance function. Know-how with motorized equipment such as skid steers, front-end loaders, and snowplows is necessary.
- Aptitude to run motorized highway maintenance equipment covering skid steer, utility tractor, aerial bucket truck, front-end loader, tandem-axle truck, and snowplow.
- Experience making primary repairs to highways, culverts, and bridge layouts.
- Capacity to perform small mechanical repairs in the field, such as changing tires, blades, or filters.
- Responsibility for keeping up equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and checking fluid levels.
- Willingness to operate in hazardous conditions and inclement weather.
- Aptitude to perform related tasks such as flagging, erecting traffic control signs and barricades, shoveling materials, cleaning culverts, mowing, and brush cutting.
- Sound driver's license may be needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work motorized highway maintenance equipment such as skid steer, utility tractor, aerial bucket truck, front-end loader, tandem-axle truck, and snowplow.
- Perform significant repairs to highways, culverts, and bridge setups.
- Make slight mechanical repairs in the field, including changing tires, blades, or filters.
- Uphold equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and checking fluid levels.
- Perform flagging tasks and erect traffic control signs and barricades on construction and maintenance projects.
- Shovel materials, tidy culverts, mow, and cut brush as needed.
- Perform other related perform as called for.
