Duties & Responsibilities
- Pump sewage from septic tanks into pump truck.
- Lift and transport liquid waste and trash from homes to collection trucks.
- Round up trash from public sites and provide water as directed.
- Keep up truck log, inspection forms, maintenance records, and everyday trip reports.
- Manage loading and unloading of truck; load or unload as needed.
- Perform duties of a Waste Collector when needed.
- Inspect and clean equipment and facility; report maintenance demands to supervisor.
- Help with inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of vehicles.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
