Job Description
The Central Intelligence Agency is looking for a Utility Engineer to grab full-scope responsibility for industrial utility systems and infrastructure at Agency figures centers around the planet.
You’ll perform with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, three-phase power distribution grids (120/208/220/380/460), emergency diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, transformers, uninterruptible power supplies, automatic voltage regulators, and plumbing systems.

Salary & Compensation
Pay / Settle Package: $75,332 - $133,142 per year.
Qualification
To qualify for the Utility Engineer role at the CIA.. You require an associate's degree from an accredited university or vocational/trade school plus three years of applicable expertise in fields like Applied Science for Electrical Technology.. HVAC.. Electrical/Electrician Trades.. Plumbing.. Or Diesel/Diesel Power Generator Technology.
Alternatively, five years of equivalent civilian or military trades background is accepted. A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale is needed. A bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is desired.
- U.S. Citizenship and at least 18 years old (dual-national U.S. Citizens are eligible).
- Capacity to encounter CIA minimum conditions, covering a background investigation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude to lift up to 75 pounds when supporting installations or distinct needs.
- Ability to climb ladders, stoop, bend, and get to for extended periods.
- Dynamic and adaptable skilled technique with a robust desire to pick up.
- Accountability for actions and capacity to function independently or as section of a crew.
- Desired: Journeyman license or equivalent certification in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Diesel, or Diesel Power Generator Technology.
- Desired: OSHA certification.
