Water/Wastewater Utility Systems Operator - SCC

Applicants must have the ability to safely operate and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery, coordinate loading and dispatch of water trucks, and enforce safety and spill-prevention practices. Experience with flow meters and transaction verification is required.

Operate and maintain the water utility system including Water Treatment, Water Distribution, Wastewater Treatment, and Wastewater Collection.

• Oversee daily truck-based water dispensing and wastewater receipt operations.
• Ensure accurate metering, ticketing, and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain safe, reliable service.
• Coordinate loading and dispatch of water trucks and wastewater receiving.
• Enforce safety and spill-prevention practices.
• Operate and monitor flow meters; verify driver inputs and transaction IDs; perform resets.
• Perform the functions of the Water Utility Systems Operator as assigned.

Full-time position.

$27.23 per hour.
