Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is hiring an Experience Specialist NF2 to lead the Customer Service Desk or central checkout operations at the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) in Quantico, Virginia.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Experience Manager, Sales Manager, Store Manager, or Marine Mart Manager to execute corporate service programs, promotions, and Dress Blue Experience standards at every customer touchpoint.

You will complete sales and return transactions using the Point of Sale system, proactively identify and resolve customer problems, and act as a coach for team members on service, returns, and RPOS systems.

Qualification

To qualify for the Experience Specialist NF2 position, you must have at least one year of experience working in a customer-focused environment, preferably in retail or business operations. Experience observing, coaching, and training front-line employees is preferred.

Role Responsibilities

Lead the Customer Service Desk or central checkout operations in collaboration with management.

  • Complete all sales and return transactions using the Point of Sale system.
  • Assist in execution of corporate service programs, promotions, and events.
  • Maintain daily and weekly Dress Blue Experience standards at all customer touchpoints.
  • Understand and operate within all service policies, exercising an 'I can DO that' mentality.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to resolve customer problems before they occur.
  • Take ownership and follow up with customers to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Understand and articulate all MCX value stories, programs, and promotions.
  • Recognize and uphold the core values and mission of the Marine Corps Exchange.
  • Act as a coach for team members on service, returns, and RPOS systems training.
