Job Description
The U.S. Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, is hiring an International Programs Administrator to manage administrative, financial, and investigative support for overseas operations in Frankfurt, Germany. This is a permanent, full-time overseas assignment with a minimum three-year commitment.
The role is open only to current career or career-conditional Secret Service employees and CTAP eligibles. You will provide procedural and financial management advice, maintain financial records, establish administrative procedures, and support criminal investigations by performing database searches and link analysis.
During protective visits, you will coordinate with law enforcement agencies and conduct name checks.
Qualification
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11. Experience must include coordinating administrative functions, updating policies, managing procurement, using office automation systems, and advising management. No substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- Must be a current career or career-conditional U.S. Secret Service employee in the competitive service, or a USSS CTAP eligible.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Tier 5 clearance.
- Must submit to random drug testing.
Role Responsibilities
Provide procedural and financial management advice regarding supply allocation and training expenditures.
- Maintain financial records and files, track bills, clarify changes, and obtain supporting documentation.
- Identify and report erroneous charges and ensure proper crediting of accounts.
- Establish administrative procedures, internal controls, and standard operating procedures for assigned offices.
- Advise the Resident Agent in Charge on new regulations, policies, and procedures affecting administrative and support functions.
- Perform preliminary searches and input new data into criminal databases.
- Develop background information on subjects of investigations and assist agents with link analysis.
- During protective visits, contact other law enforcement agencies, conduct name checks, and gather criminal histories.
Conditions & Requirements
