You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Region Emergency Management Department of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK, located at Naval Base Norfolk, VA.

In this role, you will advise senior leaders on the most effective use of manpower resources within an industrial organization. You will evaluate program effectiveness in meeting manpower goals, determine recruitment requirements, and recommend work methods to increase efficiency.

Qualification

To qualify for this GS-12 Management Analyst position.. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This experience must include initiating personnel actions, working with HR and Labor Relations, conducting workload analyses, and determining civilian manpower requirements.

  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience initiating, reviewing, authorizing, and/or tracking personnel actions such as recruitment, promotion, details, and awards.
  • Experience working with Human Resources and Labor Relations to fill vacant positions.
  • Experience conducting analyses of complex functions and work processes including workload and deviations from standards to determine validated staffing requirements.
  • Experience determining civilian manpower requirements to make recommendations/advice to Regional Directors in the decision-making process.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
