Qualification
To qualify for the Classroom Aide
- BEdA post, candidates usually want a high school diploma or equivalent and expertise operating with adult learners. Additional needs may include fundamental computer competencies and the capacity to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- High school diploma or GED called for.
- Experience functioning with adult learners in an educational setting preferred.
- Sturdy interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Aptitude to aid with elementary instruction in reading, writing, and math.
- Comfort using computers and educational software.
- Patience and cultural sensitivity when operating with diverse students.
- Consistent transportation to the Moses Lake campus.
- Must pass a background review as per college policy.
Role Responsibilities
Assist BEdA instructors in providing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Give one-on-one tutoring and modest cluster assist to adult learners.
- Support students with assignments and reinforce learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to lead instructor.
- Arrange instructional materials and keep up classroom body.
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support plan operations.
