Job Description
The Recreation Aid at the Auto Hobby Shop, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, schedules maintenance appointments, takes reservations, procedures payments, generates invoices, researches and orders parts, and verifies safety systems. This versatile role (1 hours per week) needs standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Monday through Friday with feasible evening and weekend shifts. This role assists Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force. Best-suited for those with client service and computer know-how who enjoy hands-on automotive assist.
Salary & Compensation
Salary: $15 per hour.
Qualification
Unseal to everyone. You must be US citizens or permitted 1 residents (such as NATO country citizens other than Germany). Background with computers, buyer offering, and cash register operation is needed; automotive insight is desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule maintenance and repair appointments.
- Take reservations and receive payments.
- Generate client invoices.
- Research and order parts.
- Review the established safety system of facilities, domains, tools, and equipment.
- Response inquiries about scheduled activities and events.
- Obtain inventory of automotive supplies and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Conditions & Requirements
- Must finish a background investigation with favorable findings.
- May need to work shifts such as evenings, weekends, holidays, or distinct situations.
- Must be fit to lift and transport objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Calls for continuous standing, walking, and stooping.
- Male candidates born after December 31, 1959 must register for Selective Service.
- All federal NAF employees must have pay payments created by electronic funds transfer/direct deposit.
- Probationary period may be required.
